Property Description
Welcome to The Moon named after our rescue dog. And for the view from our spacious rooftop deck! Sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico, Nature Preserve, and sunsets. A lovely little house...only a 4 minute walk to the beach or 1 minute on the golf cart! A wonderful vacation spot for a small family, a couple or even 2 couples. There are 2 bedrooms (flat screen tv in both) with private bath in the master, and 2nd bathroom off the living room. The open and airy floor plan includes a living room (2 large slip covered sofa beds, 2 chairs, and small game table), dining area (table with 6 chairs) off of the open kitchen. Also, there is a screened in porch off of the kitchen, with table and chairs. The ground level offers your own private swimming pool (gated for child safety), grill, and 4 person jacuzzi. This home provides a lifted 4 passenger golf cart. The rooftop deck has a cocktail table, chairs, and chaise lounges for sunning. Also, included with our North Captiva Club membership, you have access to use their 2 commercial sized pools ( you can order cocktails poolside or go to their small bar/restaurant), tennis courts, basketball court, or rent kayaks, paddle boards, beach bikes, and more!
The Moon is the perfect getaway. Our 8 year old friend Ayden stayed here with us and said it best... This is heaven! We couldn't agree more!
About the owners:
We are a married couple with one rescue dog (moon) and one rescue cat (cakes). We both have a love for interiors, mixing old with new. Also, we love music and vegan food.
Why we chose North Captiva:
Our very dear friends introduced us to North Captiva, and we have been coming here for years. It's such an amazing island, and we fell in love with the relaxed vibe of the island. Many local folks don't even know about it. It feels like a secret oasis..
What makes this house unique:
Location!!! We are close to the beach, the nature preserve, and close to the North Captiva club. Also, we wanted a relaxed beach feel without the typical Florida theme. We would love our guests to feel like their in a casual beach home. A true vacation getaway where you can do whatever you want to do! Your biggest worry is deciding & beach, club pool, or house pool? The second biggest worry is what cocktail should we have?...
