We had some problems

You can tell this unit is primarily a rental unit. I had a chance(while staying at another unit in October) to view this unit before we arrived in January. At that time the unit had some stains on the rug and there was a few dead bugs on the floor, and at that time, was assured that the place would be cleaned up. When we arrived in January, the place was clean. But shortly therafter the problems started. We went food shopping the first day, and put out stuff in the refridge and the next morning the whole refridge shelving had puddles of water on them. I called and the manager and they sent someone out to fixed the problem. We then had problems with the stove cooktop, only 1 burner out of four got hot enough to cook on. That problem was never fixed. A repairman did show up and said the heat elements were all failing and would take it up with the owner. The washing machine was very loud while running, a repairman did show up but had to order parts and was never fixed during our stay. The upstairs bath sink only supplied hot/warm water(there was no cold water). There was a broken blind in the downstairs bedroom,(didn't cover about a 1/4 of the window, a repair man showed up and just jimmy rigged it back together, for 40.00 could have just bought a new one. The beach umbrella that was in the closet was busted, along with 1 of the three beach chairs in the closet. Finally I will say the realitor did respond to all the problems and managed to get a partial refund back from the owner for all the problems. But from a renters standpoint, for the 240.00 in renturned rent fee, I would have much preferred a nicely working condo unit. If everything gets fixed it will be a decent place to stay, it has a nice view, and is close to the bar-b-cue!

Great golf vacation

We rented this condo for a 2 week golf vacation. We really enjoyed the location, very convenient access to a wide variety of couses. The condo is very well appointed and the furniture and beds are more comfortable and of better quality than is usually found in rental accommodation. The complex is quiet and definitely adult oriented. We would be happy to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy a casual golf holiday.

We thought the unit was excellent, but overall the level of noise in the area was much higher than expected. This was primarily due to maintenance activity while we were there. There was one evening of the eleven we were there where pool noise was an issue. This was not usually any problem at all. The condo is well configured for rental use and well supplied. If only one couple is using the unit we recommend sleeping upstairs. It is much more private and despite being a "loft" bedroom is really nice. The upstairs is like a suite and with the local wind blowing is very comfortable. We have been in the Waikoloa Villas many times as we used to have a condo there ourselves so we are very familiar with the area. The B203 unit is comfortable and very visitor friendly. The condos are close to the village center and the market there is still really great. The Waikoloa area is one of our favorite places in the world. It is off the beaten track, has amazingly consistent and fantastic weather, and is an easy drive to either the beach or the upland areas.

the only thing that was less than perfect is the location of this unit (we have stayed in these condos a half dozen times)...although we loved the cleanliness of the unit and the view, the pool is right there and behind the unit is the garbage area so it tended to have some noise especially in the mornings...otherwise great
