Property Description

Invite up to 6 friends and stay in this 1 bedroom with loft condo. Less than one mile from the Sunriver Resort, this upper level condo has the makings of a truly comfortable vacation home.

The loft has 1 queen and 1 twin bed located a few steps above the main floor of the condo and a separate bedroom on the lower level that also has a queen bed. The futon in the living folds out to a queen size bed for extra sleeping options.

A flat screen television, electric fireplace and dining area for 6 complete the condo’s space. The fully stocked kitchen conveniently includes a microwave and dishwasher. Dine in using the electric BBQ, ride Sunriver’s 30 miles of paved bike paths using the 4 bikes included with the condo.

Powder Village Condo #C1 has an on-site laundry facility and access to the condo hot tub & seasonal pool

Comfortable condo & a great deal!

Sunset Lodging was easy to work with and helped us select this low-priced rental that fit our family of 2 adults and 1 toddler very well. The kitchen was more than fully stocked and the condo had everything we needed, even bikes to ride! The location is a little ways away from Sunriver Village Mall, maybe a 5 minute bike ride? About 15 minutes by bike to Sharc and a little further to Ft Rock Park, not bad at all. We loved having a comfy house all to ourselves for nap time and quiet evenings. The stairs to the loft were not ideal with a toddler in tow, so next time we'll opt for an all-one level rental.

Staircase to loft collapsed

+ Clean, well-stocked kitchen w/ every dish/bowl/ pot/utensil/appliance you need to make holiday meals for 4. Small fridge, no pantry space. Plan on buying ingredients everyday rather than bringing/storing a week's food supply. + Passes to Sharc are great - but this place should not be rented w/ loft. "Loft" looks unsupported, no guard rails = too easy for someone to roll off 8-9 feet to the floor below. - Entire staircase collapsed w/ a barely 100-lbs female standing still on top step. Not professionally built: top of the staircase attached to wall w/ a few brad nails, steps not built with load-bearing support, single piece of particleboard at the bottom bore all the downward weight, leaning against a single 1x1 screwed to floor. Sunset Lodging immediately repaired, but they re-attach the top back to the wall w/ screws & reassembled the bottom using the same exact particleboard which had crumpled. Luckily the only physical injury appears to be a twisted ankle but it could have been so much worse. Don't rent unless owners rebuild staircase to code. - Located in a business park very close but outside the main resort area. Next to a windowless storage facility & across from post office. Does not feel like a vacation spot. Actually feels a little creepy during winter holidays when there are no people/activity in the area & everything dark from business closure. This place fits 4, tops. - Space ok for summer, but w/ bulky winter coats/snow gear, there is not enough room for more than 4. "Loft" should not be counted as legitimate sleeping spaces. - The place was offered w/ discounted Mt. Bachelor lift tickets & kids-ski-free. Sunset Lodging failed to tell us it requires 4 days notice to get these tickets so we could not take advantage. - Sunset Lodging was friendly & responsive: we needed a dustpan, Wd-40 to stop the ear-piercing squeaking of the glider, kitchen bulb burned out & heating units failed in living room, kitchen & bathroom on three separate occasions.

The staircase has been repaired and properly anchored on the top, bottom and sides above and beyond code requirements. Also, bed safety rails have been installed for the loft area. 2. Location of the Powder Village Condos are minutes away from the Bike Paths and Village Mall with easy access to Mt. Bachelor at an affordable rate. This condo sleeps 6 guests due to the futon in the living room and loft area. We have other condos available if extra rooms are needed to accommodate your family/group. 3. Mt. Bachelor requires an advanced purchase for discounted lift tickets and Sunset Lodging has placed this requirement on our website and print materials. Our Vacation Planners do their best to inform guests about the details of the Mt. Bachelor tickets over the phone. This situation was an unfortunate misunderstanding and Sunset Lodging took part of the monetary responsibility. Thank you again for your feed back. Condo was perfect...the neighbors were awful

30 Years! stayed 5 nights on 7/28/2012

Sun River and this condo was a perfect place for celebrating our 30th anniversary. We: rested, swam, biked, white watered, ate, played, hiked, and toured the area. The condo was just right and the cruiser bicycles included where a giant plus. The wet blanket on the whole week was a condo nearby had a loud, foul mouthed tenant who could be heard almost daily yelling and belittling his wife (or girlfriend) and ultimately slapping her around in rage with lots of screaming. We called 911 and the police responded within 5 minutes. The tenant was still there when we returned but behaved the remainder of our stay. One would probably never hear this kind of behavior in cooler weather as windows and doors would be shut, but in the summer, you need to have the windows open and this guy had everything open. Needless to say, it was a horrible unsettling experience that tainted the otherwise perfect vacation. This kind of situation could have happened anywhere and to anyone but unfortunately it happened to us. We explained the situation to Sun River management so that they were aware of this tenant. I hope for everyone's sake he is evicted.

It was a Wonderful condo. It was well decorated and very clean. We loved having the pool and hot tub close. The bikes were in great condition, we were very impressed. This was our 30th reunion of coming to Sunriver! :)

It's a one bd condo so it's on the small side. But it is nicely decorated and everything works. It was a comfortable stay. We would recommend it.
