On the first floor, each bedroom has its own bathroom- a great convenience. There is an open floor plan- with kitchen, dining area and living area all sharing gorgeous ocean views. Historic Front Street is within walking distance- so if a little shopping or a tropical mai tai or a fresh island fish dinner is what you have in mind- a short stroll and you are there! The sandy beach is right in front of the home and is ideal for all your activites...whether it be a water sport -in the Pacific ocean or the refreshing pool or just lounging in a conmfortable chaise. Hale Lahaina is well equipped with stainless appliances, granite counter tops, hi speed wi-fi, a ping pong table, gas and charcoal grills, laundry facilities- all perfect for a family reunion or a friends' holiday get together. The place was just perfect and the kids just loved the pool. Highly recommend. P.S. We would like to know what is the status of the hot tub repair.

Due to the fact they were remolding the house behind our stay was plagued everyday except Superbowl Sunday with jack hammers, planers, skill saws for abut 7:30 to 6 every day. I know it is hard to know but it is a lot of money to not be able to talk to your spouse or friend without yelling. Pool was very cold and could not use. Told it warms up as you get closer to spring. Would not go in January again. It would be nice to offer at lest one or two more queen beds. Should not have to sleep in double beds for $1000 per night. Propane ran out with no backup as it was empty. three smoke alarms expired all the same day.

When they say a 10 minute walk to town they need to define town - shops, Hawaiian ice, restaurants, etc. great location! Residential area with no resorts traffic. Great views and a great pool. Ping pong table a plus. Wonderful place.

The property is getting alittle tired. All of the screens neet to be replaced as they sooner or later fell out of their tracks. Foretunately no bugs. As we arrived the plummer did to, to unplug a stopped toilet and fix one that ran constantly. I had to unstop that toilet once myself and the running toilet required jiggling of the handle to stop it. I had to take the upper basket apart in the dishwasher as it had slipped its tracks. Perhaps some water saving toilets and a new dishwasher are in order. We found a dead mouse under the bed in one of the bed rooms. He had been there awhile. None of these things were too much of a bother. Place was great for our 3 families. Lots of space
