Property Description

Shipyard Condominiums are located in the Truman Annex Complex which is located 2 blocks from Duval Street and all of the Old Town Key West attractions. The properties are also located less than 1 mile from one of the best beaches on the island.The Shipyard units are single level condominiums which have private courtyards on the first level or balconies on the second level.
All properties are outfitted with washer/dryer, pots,pans, towels, linens, have central air conditioning, off street parking and pool access.

ew stayed 7 nights on 4/20/2014

Avoid this u nitn Dirty couch, shower curtain and walls. Grill was filthy with no utensils. Bedroom tv was inoperable. Ants...compass realty did nothing to help.

Great location, very nice backyard deck, comfortable, quiet, and spacious condo. Amenities good. No cleaning service. However, lots of repairs needed. Backyard awning was in terrible shape. The TV in the bedroom didn't work. Some of the doors wouldn't open. There were some odd omissions. Lots of towels but only one wash cloth. The barbecue pit was filthy and had no propane. Very little information on condo and town. When we stopped at the office and asked if we could print boarding passes, they basically said no and said they ""weren't a hotel." For as much as we paid, we should have gotten better treatment and a condo in better shape.

The Truman annex is beautiful and perfect located to so many wonderful things. The unit itself was nice, but paper thin walls made it felt like we were renting with the neighbors next door. Although we didn't spend much time in the unit, it was uncomfortable hearing the neighbor next door snore at night. The unit was nice otherwise.

Frequent Shipyard Visitor stayed 7 nights on 12/21/2013

This is nit-picky, but the little things can add up. The paper towel rack is less than dollar store quality and does not function. The can opener must have come from the same place and does not open cans. The wifi is unprotected by a password so is used by all the neighbors. This makes it very slow to unusable, and it creates a possible (no, really probable) security issue.
