Property Description

This 4 bedroom 1 ½ bathroom saltbox style home is located in Eidelweiss Village and accommodates up to 10 people. This home offers plenty of space with a large living area and family room in the finished basement. If you are visiting in the summer months and are looking to enjoy the water, this home is within walking distance to both Big and Middle Pea Porridge Pond. If you decide to visit in the colder months you can ski and snow tube at King Pine Skiing, located just a few miles from Eidelweiss Village.

Amenities include: Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, cable TV, DVD player, VCR, gas grill and fireplace.

First Level: living room, dining area, kitchen, bedroom with queen (sleeps 2), and half bath with laundry.

Second Level: bedroom with queen (sleeps 2), bedroom with twin and set of bunks(sleeps 3), and full bath.

Finished Basement: family room and bedroom with set of bunks and cot (sleeps 3).

Available for summer, fall, winter & spring short term rentals.

Well needed weekend away

FAMILY FUN stayed 2 nights on 2/11/2011

The franks house is perfect for an adult get away in the winter. I have rented this house 2 years in a row and will hopefully be renting again. Its very close to town and other areas. Very roomy and comfortable. We love this house and really enjoy ourselves when we are there.

Ann Verrochi of Select real estate was timely with correspondence and the information clearly stated what the overall expectations were and we were provided with all that was necessary to facilitate. The place provided adequate room for our group and was well kept and cozy. We were accomodated with early check in due to a hazardous storm that arrived as expected. Directions and proximity to various ski areas was reasonable and we look forward to renting again.

A house I would rent again

We really liked the set up of the house. It was clean and we had enough room for everyone. I wish it had two full baths, that would of made it the better, and having a little bigger of a kitchen. But over all great house, we would recommend it. The kids enjoyed the yard a lot and the drive way was huge, giving enough room for visitors.

We spent a nice week at the Franks home. The home was clean and very comfortable and I would recommend it. One of our concerns was that when we came back after being out all day there was some type of flying beetles congregated in the skylight. We killed them only to come home the next day and find the same thing. We finally took magazines and covered all the heating registers on the first floor and didn't see a bug for the rest of the week. Our other problem was that the front door could not be bolted, only the lock on the doorknob worked. It appeared that the hole in the strike plate did not line up with the dead bolt. As nice as the home was it would have been even better if there was a canoe or some type of boat at the beach we could have used. We have been renting various properties in Eidelweiss Village over the last 25 years and most of them have been great. The best rentals are on the water and that's what we will rent the next time we come up to the White Mountains.
